8 journaling tips that actually keep you going

Research has been clear for decades that journaling works. James Pennebaker, who has run expressive writing studies at the University of Texas for over thirty years, found that writing about an emotional event for 15-20 minutes, three to four times a week, can reduce stress, improve sleep, and lower short-term doctor visits.
